Women in Vinyl

Meet Parker Hernandez, a Houston based multidisciplinary artist, art teacher and co-owner of Gneiss Sounds. Gneiss opened in June of 2023, and is co-owned by Parker and her partner. A month after opening the shop, they started a record label under the name Rite Field Records.

An exciting introduction coming to you this week, on a pressing plant which recently opened 'down under' in Brisbane Australia, and the co-owner is a woman, how awesome is that?

Welcome to 1979 is a multi-faceted, analog-centric studio that provides both digital and vinyl mastering services with the latter being what Bobbi is most known for.
